Private Cloud (On-Premise) Provider

We use a mixed selection of Virtualization Platforms and on-premises physical hardware to ensure proper testing, Q/A and product validation procedures to create, partially or in-full, development environment designed to mimic deployments in staging and production work stacks.

Unless clients explicitly request production data samples in development environment, only application stacks are exported from Public Cloud to the Private Cloud. Clients may also request partial or full data obfuscation to be done prior to transit.

We are currently using the following virtualization variants:

  • vSphere Hypervisor (type1) product line (VMWARE)
  • vCenter Converter product line (VMWARE)
  • vWorkstation for LINUX/WINDOWS (VMWARE)
  • XenServer (type1) (CITRIX)
  • KVM (type1) (RHEV)
  • virtualBox (type2) (ORACLE)
  • Parallels Desktop (v11, v12) (PARALLELS INC)

REOL Services enforces on-premises security through multi-layer file ACL enforcements as well as enhanced restrictions to source code repositories, project specifications, SRS documents and other project meta-data.

Upon project completion or termination, all virtualized environment components are destroyed, unless client requires on-going maintenance support. In such cases the guest project VMs are stopped and archived onto hardware encrypted attached storage devices (SYNOLOGY RS815+/RS815RP+ or equivalent)

All archived projects are encrypted using AES-NI HEE, certified by the hardware appliance vendor.
Encryption keys generated for each individual LUN or volume are stored off-site.

Physical access to offices hosting (if applicable) development environments is protected with multiple electronic RFID access control systems.
